Meet the crew

Steve ........ his wife's opinion.

Steve was born and raised in Apple Hill. Following in his dad's footsteps, he developed an affinity for fixing cars. It was clear very early that he was gifted in working with his hands, and fixing things that were broken, and it came as no surprise to anyone that Steve grew up as a mechanic.

Steve married his high school sweetheart, Sarah, and together they have three girls. Sarah, and the girls, are very good at continuously breaking things to keep Steve busy outside of when he's working on clients' equipment.

A true country boy, when he's not fixing "all the things" that are broken, you can find Steve hiding from Sarah ( and her thousands of reno plans ) on his dirt bike or in the shop working on his projects.

Steven Nuttall Sr.

Steven Sr. joined the team in 2023 and is truly a jack of all trades. He brings over 10 years of experience working on forklifts and other aerial equipment, along with decades of hands-on mechanical know-how. Around the shop, Sr. takes on everything from troubleshooting mechanical issues to tackling small construction projects.

Although semi-retired, you can usually find him around the shop on any given day… even when he’s technically off the clock.

When he’s not working on a project at Tanglewood, he’s in his own garage—often hiding from his wife’s mile-long to-do list—working on his latest project: a 1987 GMC Jimmy. That’s in addition to his 1968 Chevrolet C10, which he restored about 15 years ago.

Sam Schell

Sam joined Tanglewood in September 2024 and works behind the scenes in the office. She manages everything from billing and invoicing to payroll and keeps the team’s work orders organized.

She’s also known as the unofficial “safety enforcer,” making sure everyone follows the rules—whether they like it or not. It’s safe to say the guys try not to get on her bad side.

Sam brings over 15 years of administrative experience, along with a lifetime of experience navigating her brother’s (aka the boss) “management style,” which mostly consists of mutual teasing, the occasional disagreement, and plenty of sibling banter.

When she’s not finding a reason to create a new spreadsheet, Sam can usually be found at the rink or on the soccer field cheering on one of her four kids.

Skyler MacDonald

Joining us in spring of 2025, Skyler has loved building and fixing things since he was very young. What started with Lego Technic sets eventually turned into working on engines, and it quickly became clear that Skyler had a natural talent for mechanics and figuring out how things worked. Even in school, he was often the student teachers called when something needed to be fixed.

Skyler graduated from Glengarry District High School in 2025. While in high school, he completed several college-level classes like welding and automotive. Also began working toward his apprenticeship. In 2024, he completed his Level 1 Truck and Coach training.

As the shop apprentice (also known as “The Kid”), Skyler spends most of his days learning the trade, helping with repairs, and occasionally taking orders from the shop dog, who technically outranks him. Whether he’s working on a customer’s equipment or fixing wheel bearings on his own Dodge Ram, Skyler loves the work. If he comes home needing three showers after a day in the shop, it usually means it was a good day.

Koda .... Head of Security

Joining the team in February of 2023 Koda ensures anyone who stops by the shop is promptly greeted and drooled on. A true gentle giant, Koda is always looking to meet new friends. In 2025 Koda was promoted to supervisor of "The Kid"

When not snoring in the shop, Koda can be found sleeping in the office, under a tree or on a couch. Koda will always welcome a treat or a pat on the head.
